Psalm 91:9-10
Because you have made the Lord your refuge,
the Most High your dwelling place,
no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
We close on the sale of our house today. We have been here a little over ten years. This house has been the best place I have ever lived. I have so many wonderful memories of family, friends, dogs, chickens, great neighbors, easy access to just about everything and the best back yard ever.
We sold our house without putting it on the market. Our realator, Jeff Justice, told us about an off-market sale and I was a bit incredulous. But it happened. And, they want our furniture, my chickens, and they are letting us stay here until I finish work.
I thank God every day that this has been so easy.
So we have our date of departure, August 15, 2025. I am counting down. But I will miss the backyard and enjoying life back there. Here are a few of my memories.
